Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using RouteWeather (routeweather.cc), operated by Tobiasz Waszak Dev (Topolowa 1a, 62-800 Kalisz, Poland; VAT ID: PL6182109667), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of service

RouteWeather provides weather forecasts along cycling routes. We fetch weather data from third-party APIs (Open-Meteo) and display it overlaid on your route geometry. Forecasts are provided for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon for safety-critical decisions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at tobiaszwaszak@gmail.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit routes or content that infringe third-party rights or violate applicable law.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse the service in ways that impair its operation.
  • Use the service to process personal data of others without a lawful basis.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Weather forecasts are inherently uncertain. We make no guarantees about accuracy, availability or fitness for any particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tobiasz Waszak Dev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.

8. Intellectual property

Route geometry and GPX data you upload remains yours. By uploading it you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts (seat: Kalisz, Poland), without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
